All dialogues are divided into sections. Each section focuses on one Italian sentence from the dialogue and includes the English translation, phonetic symbols, a "Verify Your Pronunciation" widget, and two sample videos in both slow and normal playback speeds.
Our client experiences indicate that learning our dialogues is most effective on personal computers. Using a larger screen enhances the visibility of all elements and improves perception.
We encourage you to learn the vocabulary from all the dialogues available on the site. You will find the full list here.
Alternatively, you can explore topics that interest you by typing a keyword into the search field on the menu bar's left side.
You can watch the sample videos in either small or full-screen mode. Double-clicking on the screen allows you to choose between the two.
As you watch, speak alongside the avatar featured in the video. This practice will help you engage your motor memory and train your vocal muscles to speak Italian naturally.
We recommend memorizing each dialogue. Focus on one or two per week.
When memorizing, engage your logic. Consider the overall context of the dialogue and deduce the likely next phrase. Use these helpful memorization tips from ChatGPT.
Once you have memorized the following five dialogues: "On a Plane," "At the Hotel," "Buying Tickets for an Intercity Train," "Tastes of Italy," and "Visiting Antonio's Basket Workshop," you can ask your blue AI Assistant at the bottom of the page to help verify your memorization.
To do this, copy and paste the text below into the AI Assistant, making sure to adapt the title of the dialogue you want to check:
"Dear Assistant, please help me verify my memorization of the 'On a Plane' dialogue. Please type the English sentences for me one by one, and I will respond with the Italian equivalents."
When you provide the memorized Italian sentences, enclose them in quotation marks. This way, the Assistant will recognize them as part of the dialogue.
Trust your memory and don't be afraid to make mistakes. The Assistant will help correct you, which will enhance your memorization.
By typing the Italian equivalents, you will also practice your Italian spelling skills.
The AI Assistant will add 100 points to your Loyalty Program after verifying your recollection of one of these dialogues.
