The next morning, after I did my best to memorize the "Tastes of Italy" dialogue, I realized that I had managed to remember the phrase "Non vedo l'ora" ("I can't wait")!
I will certainly continue doing more dialogues :).

Among the many admirable qualities of Calabrians, I particularly appreciate their ability to present themselves and their work with dignity. I experienced this firsthand when my wife and two friends from Finland visited Mr. Antonio's workshop in Verbicaro, where he has been weaving baskets since childhood. That day, I also had to present myself with dignity in the role of interpreter for my friends. I cannot be happy enough about how these dialogues proved to be invaluable!
